Ketterman’s Jewelers is a licensed, legal buyer of gold.  The State of Virginia requires anyone buying gold from the public to have a Gold Buyers License.  Anyone buying gold without a license is committing a Class 2 misdemeanor for the first offense and a class 1 misdemeanor for the second.  

Ketterman’s buys, or takes as trade, gold as a service to their customers. It is not our only business so we are able to pay more. Nothing is taken out to pay the hostess of a “Gold Buying Party” or "TV Ads" It’s a Gold Buying Party at Ketterman’s every day.
