Really?! That is the general sentiment for the past 365 days. One year ago, we opened our new store here at 212 Catoctin Circle, a three year journey culminating in a chain cutting ceremony at 2:12pm on a beautiful, sunny February afternoon. As we welcomed our best friends and customers to meet the new "7th Daughter" of the Ketterman Family, we had nothing but hope and joy for the future in our new, personalized space. One month later, our hope would be challneged by a "new normal" known as Covid-19. Being of the "find-a-way-or-make-one" variety, we worked through the partial shutdowns, innovating with our staff and customers to continue to safely and responsibly serve. Never could we have dreamed of the lasting impact of the pandemic and incredible and continuous blessings experienced through 2020 and into 2021.
The year was not without hardship and loss both personally and professionally, yet we maintain our hope and thankfulness in our Creator and Sustainer. We are continually grateful for the safety and health of our staff. We are grateful for the loyal customers who have seen us through and the new ones who come in every day. We are grateful for the men and women who labored to take the dream of our own building, designed and built to suit our needs, from paper to reality. We are grateful for a team of dedicated staff who happily mask and clean and continue to care for our customers. We are grateful for the extra square footage that allows us to "social distance." We are grateful for the strong relationships we have built with our designers and manufacturers and the ability to continue to support each other through this time. We are grateful for the years of experience and history that have led us to where we are today. Most of all, we are grateful for the blessings God has given us in and through this business and the impact He has orchestrated to the surrounding community. We are grateful to continue in service as long as He sees fit.
Be Blessed...Always!
