The Rufus table clock is a playful juxtaposition of scientific instrumentation and offbeat gadgetry, evoking a desire to engage with its various fittings and adjustments. Made of heavy machined brass with polished cast aluminum, Rufus adjusts to a desired viewing angle with the turn of its brass knob. The heavy brass N-Cell clock housing can be removed for inspection. Simple hands indicate the time over the industrial Arabic dial.

While Pendulux—founded in 2014—is young, our team of six has a long and successful history in the world of home décor and other industries, not only in the US, but around the globe. Our lead designer started creating one of a kind, mechanical pieces over 30 years ago, and has since created hundreds of historically inspired reproductions sold by fine retailers around the world. Our small office and workshop in Point Richmond, California is the spot where the six of us collaborate to create, market and support our product. Working with a tightknit group in a local office allows us to meld our experiences and inspirations, resulting in unique, meaningful products that we all have invested part of ourselves in.
