Richi Ketterman

Two of the six Ketterman daughters grew up knowing they would join the family business; I was not one of them.   Instead of becoming a juvenile probation officer or going into ministry, I married the luckiest man in the world.  We left LoCo and he spent almost two years with Intervarsity at the University of Delaware.  With a baby on the way and no longer with Intervarsity, we decided to come back home.  My plan was to work at the store while I got my event planning business up and running (something I had started while in DE), but I had trouble finding the time to start a business while working in such a busy one.  So, I thought we could make every day at Ketterman's like an event.  I saw the opportunity to be part of the amazing business my parents had built and grew to love it.  Now, I can't imagine doing anything else.  

When I'm not planning events and employee trainings, working on the website, marketing, scheduling, engraving, merchandising, inventorying, or assisting customers in the store, I love facilitating behind the scenes so our awesome staff can do what they do best: make customers happy by best meeting their jewelry and gifting needs.  We are blessed to be a part of our customers special celebrations and memories, and it is such a joy to share in that.  I look forward to fostering the next generation of Ketterman's with my son and daughter and their cousins.
