Inspired by turquoise waters and azure skies of the Caribbean, Marahlago's larimar jewelry designs have stood out from the crowd for almost 20 years. In 2002, designer Adrian Nixon formed partnerships with villagers in the Dominican Republic to create a larimar mining community. Through continued efforts, hard work and community partnerships entire villages are now able to support themselves on the proceeds from this rare and beautiful gemstone.
